NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The World Health Organization’s latest COVID-19 update pointed to a 52% increase in the number of new COVID-19 cases globally in the 28 days between November 20th, and December 17th 2023 when compared to the 28 days prior.

And we’ve seen an increase at home as well, with the Ministry of Health releasing an advisory Sunday night about an uptick in cases, including a death in Grand Bahama.

But if COVID is making a rebound, how do Bahamians feel about the return of protective protocols, like the return of masks?
