ABACO, BAHAMAS – The Abaco skyline lit up this holiday weekend with an international hip-hop star. But what made the experience even more special was the location.

It was an unusual treat for the family islanders in this small community. Hip-hop superstar Rick Ross took to the stage in the small Abaco community of Crown Haven Emancipation Day weekend for the Black Bottle Fest at “Top of Da Bay Cafe,” hosted by Foreign Currency Promotions.

An unexpected power outage in the settlement did not deter excited fans from filling the venue. In fact, a delayed start seemed to spark an infectious energy from the crowd, who charged the stage with electric vibes.

As dollar bills rained from all corners of the venue and fireworks lit up the night sky, Rick Ross, a.k.a. The Boss, gave hundreds of concertgoers exactly what they came for.

The Grammy-nominated artist performed several hit songs from his extensive catalog, leaving the crowd with so much more than just a concert.

Rick Ross – Grammy Nominated Artist/Entrepreneur
“The culture so beautiful, the people so beautiful. You know it’s very positive, it’s very powerful. The Bahamas has its own identity and when I come here, I want to enjoy every aspect of it.”

Now that was a vibe! Partying in the island sure is sweet, and everyone that was in attendance can agree with me, including Ricky Rozzay.
