Road Closures Announced For Jr. Junkanoo
GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Junior Junkanoo on Grand Bahama set to cause road closures on Thursday evening.
GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Junior Junkanoo on Grand Bahama set to cause road closures on Thursday evening.
Police say the road closures begin at 2pm and will affect:
- East Mall Drive between Explores Way and Adventures Way
- Pioneer’s Way between West Atlantic Drive and East Atlantic Drive
- McKenzie Street between Adventures Way and Pioneer’s Way
- West Mall Drive between Adventures Way and Pioneer’s Way
The parade was originally set to take place on Saturday but was postponed due to bad weather.
Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture officials say all tickets previously sold will be honored on Thursday.
