NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Jet skiing, parasailing, or exciting boating adventures on the clear blue waters of The Bahamas is on the bucket list for thousands of spring breakers.

But with the fun comes concerns.

Stories of property damage, violent behavior and tragic cases of missing students that are still unsolved.

Unfortunately, the spring break season has gained sometimes dreadful reputation.

The city of Miami has launched a campaign to discourage spring breakers from visiting the South Florida city.

Chris Cooper has worked in the maritime industry for more than twenty years, starting his journey as a crew member at Seahorse Sailing Adventures and now serves as operation manager at the Sea Excursion Company.

He says in recent years he’s witnessed a noticeable shift from the wild days of spring break.

As for the team at Seahorse Sailing Adventures, Chris says the team takes the necessary precautionary methods to ensure the students are safe.
