Coach Antoan Richardson and the New York Mets broke out of their two game slide to get back in the win column with an 8-3 win against the Kansas City Royals.

KC had a 3-1 lead in the 7th inning thanks to a Bobby Witt home run, but the metropolitans stormed back with a  three-run rally in the top of the 8th, capped off by a two-run Mark Vientos double to go up 4-3.

Francisco Lindor and Juan Soto added the exclamation point in the 9th inning, smacking two home runs to give the game its final score.
