Sands Beer to Bring Pop & Redeem Reloaded Finale Beerfest to Freeport

GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Sands Beer is bringing the excitement of its popular Pop & Redeem campaign to Freeport for its grand finale, with the Pop & Redeem Reloaded Finale Beerfest taking place for the first time in Freeport on Saturday (October 3), on the grounds of Bahamian Brewery, the home of Sands beer.

The event will run from 8PM to 2AM and will feature live entertainment from Freeport’s hottest DJs, cash and other prizes throughout the night, with one major prize still to be claimed: a $10,000 cash grand prize.

Sure to be a lively night out, entertainment will feature Bahamian artist Johny Cake and the Deep South Island Boys Band, alongside some of Freeport’s fiercest DJs, including Tiko T, Big Pun, DJ Slanks and DJ Future.

Joel Smith, Sands Brand Manager, said the decision to bring the finale to Freeport was a way of changing things up while continuing the energy created by previous campaign events.

“Every year we push the limit on our campaign giveaways and finale events as we support our Sands drinkers,” said Smith. “Last year at Smugglers Square we brought the fun, excitement and you could feel the energy from all the attendees – it was packed. This year we decided to switch things up and bring that same energy to Freeport on the Brewery grounds – home of our Truly Bahamian Beer!.”

Smith said the grand finale will provide another opportunity for Sands customers to come together and celebrate the campaign, while building anticipation around who will win the $10,000 cash giveaway. “I look forward to announcing that one lucky winner,” he said.

For Bahamian Brewery, hosting the event on its grounds also brings the Pop & Redeem Reloaded celebration directly to the home of Sands Beer in The Bahamas. The venue, which has been the site for multiple grand opening parties and other commemorative events, will provide the backdrop for its first evening centered on music, entertainment, and the Sands brand.

Admission is $15 and includes a free beer, with tickets available in Freeport at Bahamian Brewery and Jimmy’s Wines & Spirits, Phluid Phactory and Grand Central locations. “We will also be giving away door prizes valued up to $5,000, but only for people attending the event,” noted Smith. “We will also have food trucks onsite available to purchase food, as well as a game section, and look out for a basketball hoop game too!”

Sands Beer is encouraging residents to come out and experience the first Pop & Redeem Reloaded Finale Beerfest to be held in Freeport, with the event promising to close out the campaign with music, entertainment and the possibility of walking away with a $10,000 cash prize.
