NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Iesha Carey is a fifth-year medical student turned entrepreneur. The 26-year-old says she had a love for candles and was constantly purchasing them then one day, 18 months ago, Scent Therapy was born.

Carey says like all good things, building momentum for her business took some time, the reception has been going well.

The names and scents of her 100 percent soy coconut candles are inspired by Bahamian culture.

For now, Scent Therapy is a home-based business, but Carey has big plans for her business’ future growth.
