Scotiabank Executives Engage Bahamian Leaders on Investment and Sustainable Growth

NASSAU, The Bahamas – Senior Scotiabank executives recently met with government, regulatory and business leaders in The Bahamas as part of a series of engagements focused on investment, economic resilience and opportunities supporting the country’s continued growth.

The visiting delegation was led by Jabar Singh, President, Scotiabank Dominican Republic and the Caribbean, and included Agostina Pechi, Managing Director, Head of Global Capital Markets, Latin America, along with Dennis Eisele, Managing Director & Head, LatAm Fixed Income Origination.

The team was joined by Roger Archer, Vice President & Country Head Bahamas, for discussions with Senator the Honourable Michael B. Halkitis, Minister of Finance; Senator the Honourable Jerome Fitzgerald, Minister of Economic Affairs, Governor John Rolle and senior officials of the Central Bank of The Bahamas.

The engagements provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives on the priorities shaping The Bahamas’ economic future and the importance of continued public-private sector collaboration in supporting investment, strengthening resilience and creating long-term opportunities.

The visit comes as Scotiabank marks 70 years of serving The Bahamas, a milestone that reflects the Bank’s longstanding relationship with the country and its continued commitment to supporting Bahamian clients, businesses and communities.
