GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Vice President of the Downtown Freeport Business Association, Jecholiah Braynen, has two overarching messages – for residents, it’s shop at home and for business owners, join the DFBA.

Braynen admits that she once fell victim to the convenience of shopping abroad, whether that’s during travel or online.. But, she’s admonishing Grand Bahamians to reconsider where they spend their money.

And when it comes to the business community, Braynen is encouraging entrepreneurs to take advantage of the partnerships the association has fostered.

Now, while they don’t offer mentorship programs at the moment, she says they can point entrepreneurs in the right direction.

Braynen is also thanking all of the other organizations that collaborate with them to ensure the success of stakeholders, particularly the Grand Bahama Port Authority.
