Six Cubans Apprehended On Ocean Cay
BIMINI, BAHAMAS – Six Cuban migrants were apprehended on Ocean Cay, Bimini, Monday.
Police say officers on Ocean Cay were alerted to a wooden vessel spotted on Crew Beach on Ocean Cay around 10pm Monday night.
Once officers were dispatched to investigate, police say they were met by Ocean Cay’s head of security, who pointed out four men, a woman and an infant.
Police say a local doctor assessed the migrants, who determined they were in good health.
They were all arrested and handed over to immigration officials for processing
