UNITED STATES – Snapchat users are pushing back after the app announced it will start charging for photo and video storage.

Snap says anyone with more than five gigabytes of saved ‘memories’ will now have to pay to keep them.

The company calls it an “inevitable change,” adding the fees will help improve the service.

But users on social media are calling it greedy… saying they’ve built up years of free storage.

Snap says most people won’t be affected.
