NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Scores of people from the South Beach Constituency and wider community got up early Saturday morning to participate in a fun run walk aimed at raising Breast Cancer awareness.

Member of Parliament for the area Bacchus Rolle was on hand for the event and spoke to our news about making the event a staple on the calendar as well as the importance of continuing to educate people on Breast Cancer.

The event, which featured health screenings and a cooking demonstration, was sponsored by the cancer treatment centers of the americas.

Local Representative Latiesha Morley spoke to us about why the decision was made to support the event and why Bahamians need to continue being aware of all cancers.
