GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – St. George’s High School celebrated a big win in Grand Bahama as they were crowned the secondary division winners of the 2024 Anthony “Huck” Williams junior junkanoo parade.

That was the level of excitement among students at the St. George’s High School as they celebrated their junior Junkanoo win in Grand Bahama.

They racked up 4,766 points and were named the winners of the secondary division.

Now this isn’t the first time the school has won. The theme this year was “Wild, Wild, West” chosen by the head of the schools’ Junkanoo Committee, Keith Saunders.

Principal Bronwen Smith says it took a dedicated and committed team to make the win happen adding that the cultural show is a positive activity for their students.

A pep rally will be held on Friday to celebrate the big win.

And preparations have already started for the 2025 Junior Junkanoo Parade.
