NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Bahama Blush beverage was created by Starbucks Harbour Bay Shift Supervisor and Barista Kristi Hinsey in celebration of Starbucks Bahamas’ 20th anniversary.

Straight from Hinsey’s beverage diaries, she said the drink was inspired by the Bahamian woman.

-Where did the name Bahama Blush come from?

-You know as a woman when we put on our make up the blush just causes the make up to give it a different type of look, so when you put on the blush…it’s a little pop of color.

As for what ingredients are used:

“It is starts off with green tea, it has lemonade, and it has passion fruit and strawberry at the bottom,” Hinsey said.

Once Kristi was done explaining the recipe behind the refresher, it was time for my hands-on barista experience.
