EXUMA, BAHAMAS – The island of Exuma continuing its steady pace of growth. Here’s an insight from the island’s representative who says he believes the island is well on its way to possibly becoming the nation’s second city.

These are exciting times for the island of Exuma. According to area member of parliament and Minister of Tourism, Investments and Aviation, Chester Cooper.

He says since the pandemic, the island’s demands continue to surpass the infrastructure.

The parliamentarian says if the level of growth for the island is to be maintained and supported, proper mechanisms must be in place.

And in terms of airlift, the list is extensive.

Cooper is calling on Bahamians to invest in boutiques, Airbnbs and hotels in order to support the projected growth.
