NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A rally held at Arawak Cay brought together church members onlookers and government officials who in light of the social climate in the country, gathered for prayer as well as sharing resources for those suffering from domestic abuse.

Keynote Speaker Ann Marie Davis, who is the spouse of the prime minister, warning residents to look out for what she describes as “wolves in sheep clothing.”

On hand was Senate President and Seventh Day Adventist church member Lashell Adderley. She says now is the time for the church to take a stand.

Organiser of the event for the church Carla Rodgers had this word of encouragement to those suffering from abuse.
