NASSAU, BAHAMAS – In a digital age when some people are more interested in social media than spiritual guidance, a 22-year-old man has become a street preacher, sharing God’s word with passersby.

Cherika Johnson tells us more.

Nathan Mackey is not a typical 22-year-old. As a child, he felt the spiritual call to preach on the streets.

Despite criticism, he frequents Meadow and Nassau Streets proclaiming a personal conviction.

While dressed in a coat suit and broad brim hat to shield him from the sun, he is armed with an amplified speaker, microphone, and a Bible.

Mackey, who works in construction part-time, says he was not always spiritual.
