NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Bahamas is among the most at-risk countries for sea-level rise, storm surges, and hurricanes.

Student projects aimed to address that ranging from renewable energy to coastal protection at B.A.I.S.S. Science Fair competition.

Jasmine Albury and team from Aquinas College designed a hurricane cooler device. 

These students aren’t just coming up with ideas – they’re thinking critically about how to help protect their communities in the long term. 

Environment Minister Vaughn Miller highlighted the importance of nurturing these young minds in addressing climate challenges.
