NASSAU, BAHAMAS – It’s been three days since public school classes kicked off the 2022/2023 academic school year and students at T.A. Thompson Junior High School are back in the classroom after being displaced for nearly two years due to structural issues.

T.A. Thompson Junior High School Acting Principal Ishmael Smith detailing how students and teachers are now able to access the classrooms at the school’s Gregory Street campus.

Those classes are back in full swing after nearly two years of structural issues that forced students to temporarily relocate to the University of the Bahamas.

Smith says most of the construction is complete but there is still a little more work to be done.
