NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Dr. Johnathan Higgins is a board-certified cosmetic surgeon with two decades of surgical experience. After years of practice in the United States, the Bahamian surgeon is ready to change the game here in The Bahamas.

He tells us one of his big goals is to turn The Bahamas into a hub for medical tourism.

Every year, many Bahamians and Americans flock to countries with less regulated medical laws because of cheaper surgical prices.

Dr. Higgins says The Bahamas’ close proximity to the U.S., while still having strong medical standards could act as a magnet to keep Bahamian patients in-country, and help Americans choose The Bahamas as their location for their procedure and recovery.
