UNITED STATES – United States Secretary of State Marco Rubio says U.S. foreign policy “needs revision” during a meeting with Suriname’s President Chan Santokhi on Thursday.

Rubio stated that the U.S. Spends too much time focused on problems and countries with leaders who give the U.S. “a hard time” and have “neglected” opportunities.

Rubio also says he wants countries to have alternatives to Chinese infrastructure, adding that he wants to ensure the U.S. is providing other options to “bad work by the Chinese that never finishes on time.”

Rubio stated that China’s work is always over budget and does not hire local workers.
