Team Bahamas Performs Well On Day One

ST. LUCIA – Isabella Munroe won the first gold medal for Team Bahamas and set the first Goodwill meet record in the girls’ 9-10 100-meter freestyle race with a time of 1:03.42. We spoke to Isabella following her record-breaking race.

Team captain Tia-Isabella Adderley also secured a win for Team Bahamas in the girls’ 15-17 50-meter breaststroke.

Donald Saunders Jr. and Caleb Ferguson made their mark by finishing first and second, respectively, in the 100-meter freestyle.

Team Bahamas also won seven of the relay events. At the end of day one, we spoke to head coach Dwayne Davis Jr.
