NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The country’s latest traffic fatality unfolding Sunday night on west bay street, near brown’s point, more commonly known as Go Slow Bend.

The collision involving a black ford explorer fitted with white and black plates, and a motorcyclist police believe to be in his teens.

Police say it was then that the driver saw a man on his motorcycle run into a gate on a home on the western side on the street, where the biker died on scene.

At the scene, friends of the victim slowly started pouring in distraught at the news, with one claiming to have just spoken to the young man earlier that day.

The highly emotional scene and the young age of the latest traffic fatality prompting Chief Superintendent Chrislyn Skippings to make this call on bikers, to wear the necessary head gear.

When asked if police were ruling out the driver of the black Ford Explorer was at fault, she said it was too early in the investigation to say.
