NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Three teenage boys are behind bars in relation to two fatal shootings that police say stemmed from a high school feud.

A 14-year-old and 16-year-old stood before Magistrate Algernon Allen Jr in relation to the May 10 murder of Renick Jean-Louis.

Police say Jean-Louis was at a basketball court on Quintine Alley with two others when he was allegedly shot by the 14-year-old. The juvenile is also accused of having a firearm to endanger the lives of Jean-Louis’ companions.

The 16-year-old is accused of aiding the alleged killer after the fatal shooting.

Meanwhile, prosecutors say 18-year-old Carlson McIntosh, whi also uses the surname Smith, shot dead 15-year-old Recardo Bridgewater as he slept in his home at Smith’s Lane.

McIntosh faced a murder charge when he appeared before Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley.

McIntosh returns to court on September 19 and the teens are back in court on August 27.
