NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The swimming nationals were held last weekend and saw over 600 swimmers hit the pool.

Ariel Weech has been swimming competitively for years and representing the country while doing it as well.

She got in the pool last weekend during The Bahamas Swim Nationals picking up one gold medal, five silver medals and a bronze.

She spoke to us about the 50m free race.

And as for the future of swimming in The Bahamas, Weech says the international competitions will continue to propel Bahamian swimmers.
