NASSAU, BAHAMAS – With the hype and excitement of the CARIFTA Games beginning to slowly fade away, track and field lovers and residents alike can now look forward to the return of The Bahamas Games.

Youth Sports and Culture Minister Mario Bowleg says the games allow athletes from the various islands to be recognized and seeks to bring the country together in unity.

The games have not been held since 2001.
