GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – A motorcade ushered in hundreds of party supporters to West End, Grand Bahama last night, as the Progressive Liberal Party held their first rally for their By-Election candidate, Kingsley Smith Jr.

Prime Minister and Party Leader, Philip Davis thanked party supporters for securing the West End and Bimini seat for the late Obie Wilchcombe; but now, he says, there is still more work to be done.

Smith told supporters that he is not only a candidate, but a son of the community, adding that he understands the needs, wants and challenges. He says it is time to bring the vision to life.

He says while the PLP party saw something in him, this by-election is not about him, but rather moving the constituents forward. He says they must continue the vision started by Wilchcombe.
