Thirty-Year-Old Man Charged with Molesting Nine-Year-Old Girl
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Prosecutors allege that 30-year-old man Chequal Martin molested a nine-year-old girl multiple times in 2024.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – An accused child molester is behind bars.
Prosecutors allege that 30-year-old man Chequal Martin molested a nine-year-old girl multiple times in 2024.
Martin allegedly indecently assaulted the child five between June 17 and 21 in New Providence.
He’s also accused of having unlawful sexual intercourse with the same girl twice on August 2 and 3.
Although not required to plead to the charges, Martin said he was innocent.
He told Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckely that the charges were made up by the child’s father.
Bail was denied and Martin returns to court on April 24, 2025 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
