Three Bahamians, One Haitian Charged with Boating Tragedy Manslaughter

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Fifty-three-year-old McKenzie Jerome, 39-year-old Donald Watson, 49-year-old Eulen McKinney and 37-year-old Wilber’s Joseph were charged with 18 counts of manslaughter.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Fifty-three-year-old McKenzie Jerome, 39-year-old Donald Watson, 49-year-old Eulen McKinney and 37-year-old Wilbers Joseph were charged with 18 counts of manslaughter.

Watson, an Exuma resident, previously served time in the United States. Joseph is a Haitian national who is in The Bahamas on a work permit.

Watson and Eulen was also charged with reckless operation of craft.

They were not required to enter a plea to the charges.

The men will return to court on October 28th for service of a voluntary bill of indictment.
