Three Tourists Remembered

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – It’s been eleven days since we learned of the mysterious deaths of three American tourists at the Sandals Emerald Bay Resort in Exuma.

While authorities and families await the autopsy results, the Exuma community is trying to heal from the sudden and traumatic deaths.

A local church leading an evening of prayer and restoration, praying for the souls of the
three deceased and for the recovery of the lone survivor hospitalized in the United States.

Employees of Sandals occupied a group of pews inside Ebenezer Union Baptist Church, in one accord with Sandals Emerald Bay General Manager, Jeremy Mutton.

The Exuma Christian Council organized the service, giving Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism and Exuma MP Chester Cooper an opportunity to remind the community that their hotel guests are family.
