UNITED STATES – In former U.S. President Donald Trump’s hush money trial, the first witness testified, shedding light on alleged “catch-and-kill” schemes orchestrated for trump.

Prosecutor Matthew Colangelo outlined a timeline, emphasizing a criminal conspiracy to influence the election.

But Trump’s attorney asserted his innocence, citing reasonable doubt and legality of non-disclosure agreements.

Judge Juan Merchan delivered instructions to the jury, reminding them they “must decide this case on evidence” and that the “defendant is presumed to be innocent.”

Tomorrow’s agenda includes a hearing on a potential violation of the gag order and the jury reconvenes.
