Trump Offers Illegal Immigrants $1,000 To ‘Self-deport’

UNITED STATES – The U.S. government is now offering illegal migrants in the country $1,000 and a paid trip home, if they agree to leave on their own.

Homeland Security says it’s a cheaper, safer alternative to arrest and deportation.

BBC has already reported that one migrant has already taken a flight from Chicago to Honduras under the plan.

President Trump says those who leave voluntarily might even get a chance to return legally in the future, but critics call it bribery and not policy.
