NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police closed investigations into three recent murders when they arrested and charged 21-year-old Machino McKenzie with the crimes.

Prosecutors said the Rupert Dean Lane resident is responsible for fatal shootings that occurred within days of each other.

McKenzie stood before Magistrate Samuel McKinney charged with the October 30 murders of Andrew Burrows and Lakeithra Stubbs at Rockcrusher Road.

McKenzie is also charged with the attempted murders of Rickara Collie and Johnny Severe, who were also shot in the same incident.

Prosecutors said McKenzie gunned down Averyon Duncanson shortly after he pulled up to a liquor store at Foster Street on November 12.

Bail was denied and McKenzie is next due in court on February 2, 2023.
