NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The pursuit of a suspect in a hit-and-run led to fatal shooting and a murder charge for two men.

Dieuson Tomas, 28, and Ravano Lightbourne, 36, are accused of the murder of Kenrick Pratt.
The incident stemmed from a hit-and-run occurred on October 19, where Pratt allegedly knocked a man off his bike on Miami Street.

This allegedly prompted the suspects to chase Pratt and fire shots at him.

Pratt crashed into a parked car at Early Bird Supermarket on Robinson Road and he was pronounced dead.

The men were not required to enter pleas to the murder when they appeared before Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley.

Bail was denied and they return to court on January 22, 2026 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
