GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Two men have been sentenced in connection to a revenge shooting.

Jeffrey Musgrove and Delvandre Butler were convicted of the May 25, 2019 attempted murder of John Lightbourne in Grand Bahama.

Prosecutors alleged that the shooting was payback after Lightbourne stabbed Musgrove during an argument at a bar in Eight Mile Rock earlier that month.

On the day in question, Lightbourne was driving in the Lewis Yard area when a Ford Fusion driven by Musgrove pulled alongside him.

The passenger, Butler, fired multiple shots at Lightbourne, hitting him in the shoulder.

Justice Andrew Forbes sentenced Musgrove to 20 years in prison while Butler was sentenced to 18 years.
