NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Another big win for the One Family Junkanoo Group as they were declared the unofficial winners for the 2023 New Years Day Junkanoo parade.

One Family Junkanoo Group with a big celebration after finding out that they unofficially secured the overall win for the a division.

The group capturing several wins including Best Music, Best Overall Performance and Costume.

Chairman of One Family Christina “Muffin” Fernander is the first female chairman of the group. Fernander was emotional as she expressed how much a two-straight win means for the group.

The chairman revealing that the group began preparing for New Years parade before the Boxing Day parade.

And, these group members say this win is one to remember.

The Saxons unofficially walking away with the second place win, Roots third, the Valley boys fourth, Genesis in the fifth position and the Music Makers in sixth place.
