NASSAU, BAHAMAS – “TWO STRAIGHT”: The One Family “Warriors” took their seat on the throne Thursday after winning the 2025 Boxing Day Parade, and the 2026 New Year’s Day Parade.

At day-break on Thursday, the group rushed down Bay Street under the theme “No matter what, we gern to church! So, what’s your reason?”

The group executed religious scenes, complete with heavenly angels, clergymen and scenes from churches.

On Thursday evening as their large Junkanoo pieces from the parade were ushered into their shack, members of the group gathered for a victory feast and fellowship.

Rolle praised his members for their stellar work on both parades and said he never once doubted their ability to win.

Vernon Rolle – Chairman, One Family

“When you were here the last time I spoke with confidence, and we spoke about the revival in our country, and our country needing prayers. [So] we showed you that One Family brought it out there on this New Year’s Day morning.”

Although victory is sweet, Rolle says it’s not just about celebrations, and that they plan to immediately begin preparations for the upcoming Junkanoo season.

“Next season I’m thinking it’s going to be even better now that we have our home, we ready now, we’re going to start tomorrow.”

“The family that prays together stays together”
