UNITED KINGDOM – Britain’s new Prime Minister Keir Starmer posed with labour lawmakers on Monday, July 8, as they gathered at parliament following a sweeping victory in the general election.

Labour won 412 of 650 seats, ending 14 years of conservative rule. Parliament returns on July 9, when mps will elect the Speaker of the House of Commons and swear the oath of allegiance to the King.
