UNITED STATES – After a rocky weekend, the U.S. Senate is back in action, racing to deliver on Trump’s massive tax-and-spending plan, officially dubbed the “Big Beautiful Bill Act.”

However, cracks are showing, with GOP Senator Thom Tillis bowing out of reelection after opposing Medicaid cuts, calling the bill a betrayal.

A new Congressional Budget Office report warns that the plan could spike the debt by $3.3 trillion and leave nearly 12 million more Americans without insurance.

Democrats are reportedly planning a flood of amendments.
