UB Honors Former Coaches

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The University of The Bahamas honored over three dozen coaches recently, stretching from the early days of the athletics program when the institution was the College of The Bahamas.

A number of the honorees were the first coaches in their respective sports and a notable honoree, former volleyball coach, Jennifer Isaacs-Dotson is the longest-serving coach in the university’s history.

She talked about the sacrifices that she and her fellow coaches made.

NBA

Buddy Hield and the Indiana Pacers are in after they throttled the Milwaukee Bucks 128-119 Thursday night.

Hield had 8 points of 3-11 shooting and it was Tyrese Haliburton, who is establishing himself as a legitimate MVP candidate this season, who led the way for the Pacers, scoring 37 points and dishing out 15 assists.

Buddy and the Pacers are going to play against Lebron and the Los Angeles Lakers in the final on Saturday at 8:30 pm Bahamas time.
