GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – The Department of Urban Renewal recently hostED their first Health and Wellness Fair at the Urban Renewal headquarters on Queens Highway in Grand Bahama.
GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – The Department of Urban Renewal recently hosted their first Health and Wellness Fair at the Urban Renewal headquarters on Queens Highway in Grand Bahama.
The event featured free screenings for things like vision, dental, cholesterol, blood sugar, and blood pressure.
Registered Dietitian, Renecia Bain spent the day breaking down the facts to residents, hoping to help them understand just what’s in their processed foods, and how it leads to some scary health statistics in the country.
Doctors Hospital representatives also were present for the fair offering a number of services for attendees.
It’s something they hope to do again soon and in new locations.
