Veteran Broadcaster And Radio Host Darold Miller Passes Away

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The body of veteran broadcast Darold Miller wheeled away by morticians Sunday as shocked onlookers stood by.

Only a few hours earlier the call of a concerned residents ent police to Miller’s house claiming flies were surrounding the residence.

Miller, a well-known figure in Bahamian journalism, began his broadcasting career at the broadcasting corporation of The Bahamas.

He then left ZNS and returned to the airwaves in the mid 90s, at Love 97 radio.

He became known for his hard-hitting provocative style as a radio talk show host.

Throughout his career, Miller, became known for bringing many issues to the Bahamian public on the Darold Miller show.

He was also very popular among audiences for his election coverage.

A statement from Prime Minister Philip Davis describes him as the voice of The Bahamas.

On the scene, a neighbor recalls having just spoken with Darold on Friday.

Despite his national prominence, he maintained strong personal relationships with so many in the community
