NASSAU, BAHAMAS – They are growing pains of the worst kind as commuters on Village Road continue to face daily diversions amidst the $9.4 million infrastructural upgrades and roadworks drag on.

Road work on Village Road showing no signs of meeting the late November deadline set by the Ministry of Works.

One roadside vendor tells Our News the road improvements have been affecting her business.

Joiclyn Taylor, Vice Principal OF Queen’s College, says the school has had to make some adjustments by introducing staggered dismissal times, supported by two additional entrances to the campus.
