UNITED STATES – VJ Edgecombe is ready for his first NBA season.

Taken 3rd overall in the 2025 draft, big things are expected from the 20-year-old guard from Bimini, and he’s been spending the offseason preparing himself for the game mentally with 20 year NBA vet Kyle Lowery and physically with the training staff.

VJ was only three years old when his countryman, Eric Gordon, made his debut.

He’s ready to be a good mentor and play his role as a sharpshooter.

Hundreds Participate In 4th Annual UB Cross Country Invitational

Now in its fourth year, the event is the biggest it’s ever been.

Athletes as young as primary school-aged competed as well as U-13, U-15, U-17 and the open division.

Running on their home course, UB athletes Najiahah Mortimer and Lhevinne Joseph took the men’s and women’s open division.
