Watson: No Intent to Cause Further Pain to GB and Abaco Residents

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Press Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister, Clint Watson says it was not the intention of the government to cause any further pain to residents of Grand Bahama and Abaco affected by Hurricane Dorian.

Watson was responding to concerns raised by residents regarding the use of the word “celebration” and over a concert planned to be held in New Providence and headlined by Grammy Award Winning Gospel Artist Cece Winans.

A list of events was released by the Office of The Prime Minister beginning on August 26.
