NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Former Prime Minister Perry Christie is hoping that in 2023 the country can find the formula to get crime under control and minimize its impact. 

For 2022, the country has recorded just under 130 homicides.

The former PLP leader’s comments came on the sidelines of the 2022 boxing Day Junkanoo Parade. 

Christie added there needs to be focus placed on unemployment, adding he feels the Davis administration has the plan to address the existing problems.
