NASSAU, BAHAMAS – There has been wide spread criticism across the country following the news of rape accusations against a sitting member of parliament.

Some have also said that the female member of parliaments within the Davis administration have been too silent on the issue.

And to that, MP for Elizabeth Jobeth Coleby-Davis says, “We have to be careful not to speak just for speaking sake. Where there are allegations, there are police investigations.”

She also says it’s always important to have the facts.
