GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – A passenger on a Western Air flight that made an emergency landing, Thursday morning, says the video of the incident was more intense than the actual events.

V. Charmaine Rolle tells Our News she recalls the instructions from the flight attendant, and how she felt learning the early morning flight to Freeport would have to return to Nassau for an emergency landing.

Kendall Dorsett Jr., Chief Investigator of Air Accidents says Western Air’s 7am flight to Freeport on a Embraer 145 aircraft returned to Lynden Pindling International Airport after the flight crew observed “an unsafe landing gear indication shortly after takeoff from LPIA.”

There were no reported injuries and the plane landed safely.
