NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Some animals at the Bahamas Humane Society have been waiting years for their chance at a loving forever home. Sheldon is one of them.

Supervisor at the Bahamas Humane Society, Marcien Pinder says they estimate Sheldon to be about three or four years old. The sweet and loving boy has spent the majority of his life in the shelter, but he’s ready for a home of his own.

As for his eye, Marcien tells us it doesn’t hold Sheldon back.

Sheldon is also great with other dogs. And if you can’t commit to taking him home permanently, you can always choose to foster him.

If you want to get to know Sheldon a bit better, The Bahamas Humane Society welcomes volunteers to walk the dogs multiple times a week. You can call and request to walk Sheldon for his next walk or get to know any of the other four legged friends ready to join your family.
