NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Free National Movement holding Immigration Minister Keith Bell under the microscope again after questions surrounding how workers with “irregularities” working on the British Colonial Hilton remain unanswered.

The Free National Movement has called for the resignation of Immigration and Labour Minister Keith Bell, in recent weeks and now FNM leader, Michael Pintard, is raising questions surrounding an event where senior immigration officers complained after they were allegedly told to release unregistered workers from an immigration bus after responding to reports of unregistered workers at the British Colonial Hotel.

The opposition leader says many questions are still unanswered.

Immigration Minister Keith Bell, told reporters at cabinet this morning that taking the workers with irregularities to the detention center was unnecessary given the circumstances, and that the irregularities were quickly “cured” by the employer.

But Pintard says the people deserve more details.
